口譯好手 一天兩萬起跳
不過國內半調子、客串的翻譯人數很多，但一流高手不好找。李振清說，企業對一流口譯人才的付費很高，一天酬勞行情兩萬元台幣起跳，就算只是待命，也要付八千元。
李振清表示，過去國內的翻譯好手，多仰賴報考美國的口譯認證來證明實力，如今能透過政府的公信力篩選出真正的專業人士，有助於振興翻譯口譯行業。
面對教育部積極推動中英文翻譯能力檢定考試上路，民間看法卻顯得平淡，甚至出版社與翻譯認為，「實際的作品才是最重要的！」
台灣翻譯學學會理事長蘇正隆表示，台灣目前是「中高階人才不足，低階供過於求！」很多人誤以為只要會英文，就可以擔任翻譯，事實上，英文好，中文也要好，才能翻得道地、準確；對於這項考試，學會樂觀其成。
以出版外文翻譯為主的麥格羅．希爾出版社指出，如果要找翻譯，都是靠別人介紹或自己建立的人才庫，就算真的要公開徵才，考試的資歷只是做為參考，試翻的作品才是重點。
該出版社強調，台灣翻譯人才水準差異非常大，有些人號稱有五、六年翻譯經驗，但翻出來的文章，卻好像翻譯機一樣冷冰冰的，不夠流暢，遑論「信、達、雅」。
至於翻譯的價碼，依照文章專業程度的不同，市場大約在一千字六百至一千兩百元的範圍，一本五萬字的書，翻譯完大約為三萬至六萬元左右。
有十年以上翻譯經驗的「珍珠」小姐認為，翻譯圈不少是ＳＯＨＯ族，靠口碑在各出版社間遊走，況且出版社都會先看作品，「通過考試的資歷似乎不是最重要的。」

There are too many lovely flowers in the world.
Tao Yuanming in Jin Dynasty loved chrysanthemum only.
People have been interested in peony since Tang Dynasty.
But I do like lotus that is clean even growing in the muddy pond.
It is so pure, delicate and bright.
The lotus is consistent, continuous and coherent deep inside.
It appears to be straight, proper and honest.
It gives a fantastically good smell and people could even sense its excellent smell far away.
It has no unnecessary branches.
It can be only appreciated distantly but not touched blasphemously.
I am convinced that the chrysanthemum is a recluse while the peony is a rich and the lotus is undoubtedly the sovereign.
We seldom find someone loves chrysanthemum like Tao.
Who show the enthusiasm in the lotus in the same way as I do?
Then who likes peony? Almost everybody!

I come from a single-parent family. My family members consists of my grandmother, younger brother, and my uncle. My mother passed away when I was five due to an accident, and because of that, my father was so sad that he just can't get himself together. So I was raised by my grandmother and my uncle.
Because the family surrounding, I being working in the cram school where I also studies, and now I am a senior in university I still works in the same cram school, because I don't want my family to share the financial burden, therefore I become more independance, and also I can handle more pressure. My grandmother kept telling my brother and I to be happy of what we have, so both my brother and I are always optimestic on all aspects in life no matter how bad the situation may be.
I am not the best in the class in these four years in university, but I try to finish all my courses, so no matter the presentation on my reports or examinations, I also have some courses needs to be repeated, I treasure the chance given to me to re-do, and I will make the better out of all.
My future plans is to find a steady job and try to learn something from it, and I also want to set a goal to myself about the TOEIC test, to match or to comply company's policies and needs from the management.
  

In this special day, these are something I want to tell you. I’m very thankful

you always drive me to the school every day and take good care of me when I am sick. 

Besides, you do the laundry for me, and bought me a cake for my birthday.
